Kymijärvi III bio-heating plant produces first heat for Lahti’s district heating network. Heatmasters wizards were on-site prior to commissioning, providing heat treatment services during an 18-month time period.

Investment company Panostaja Oyj acquired the ownership of Lahden Lämpökäsittely Oy and the group name was changed to Heatmasters Group.

Company acquired the heat treatment business in A. Ahlström Oy’s boiler plant in Varkaus, Finland.

Founder Eero Jääskeläinen tragically died in the middle of a negotiation. His brother Jorma took over the lead.
1982
Own development, 6-channel transformer with micro-processor controller was introduced.
1974
Oy Lämpökäsittely Ab was established in Finland by Mr. Eero Jääskeläinen. Eero and his brothers gained their heat treatment knowledge from Svenska Cooperheat Ab in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Company was the first professional heat treatment company in Finland.
