ISO 17663 - Heat Treatment

ISO 17663:2009 Welding -Quality requirements for heat treatment in connection with welding and allied processes

International standard which provides quality requirements for heat treatment in air or controlled atmospheres carried out in workshops and on-site in connection with welding and forming. It also assesses the manufacturer’s heat treatment capability and provides guidance for developing a quality control system for heat treatment.

In addition to all operations, Heatmasters’ heat treatment specialists are also individually certified under ISO 17663 standard.

All heat treatment processes are supervised by experts trained and certified in ‘The European System for Heat Treatment of Welded Joints’, in accordance with EWF-628r1-10, European Welding Federation standard.

Our facilities in Poland have implemented a quality-assurance system which has been certified by TÜV SÜD for the suitable heat treatment of materials according to AD 2000-Merkblatt HP 7/1, Ch. 2 and to EN ISO 17663. The company is equipped with suitable facilities and employs qualified personnel. The premise for the appropriate heat treatment of pressure equipment or parts for pressure equipment is fulfilled.
